WANT TO STAY FIT DURING PREGNANCY - BUT NOT SURE WHAT IS SAFE?
You want to stay active. You know it is good for you and your baby. But pregnancy changes everything - and suddenly, exercises you have done for years feel uncertain. Is this movement safe at this stage? What if I push too hard and do not realise it? What should I actually be doing right now? Maybe the gym feels uncomfortable now that your body is changing. Maybe you have tried following pregnancy workout videos online and stopped because you were not sure if they were appropriate for your trimester. Maybe a previous pregnancy left you with back pain or pelvic issues you do not want to repeat this time around.
Or maybe you simply want to feel strong, manage your weight, reduce aches, prepare your body for labour, and recover faster afterwards - and you need a qualified Pregnancy personal trainer to guide you safely through that.
That is exactly what Athleaders is built for. Our certified prenatal personal trainers in Singapore come to your home or condo gym, design a safe programme for exactly where you are in your pregnancy, and adjust it week by week as your body changes. You stay active, you stay confident, and every session is built specifically around you.

We offer flexible at-home prenatal and pregnancy personal training options across Singapore so you can stay active safely, in a setting that works for you. Every session is led by a pregnancy personal trainer who knows how to adjust your programme as your body and energy levels develop across all three trimesters.
GUIDED TRAINING AT YOUR CONDO GYM
Your prenatal personal trainer in Singapore comes to your condo gym and will assess the equipment already there. They will also bring along any additional necessary equipment such as suspension trainers, resistance bands, glute bands etc. Training in a familiar, private environment means no crowds, no awkward glances, and no pressure to keep up with anyone else. Your trainer manages every session around your current trimester, energy levels, and any pregnancy-specific considerations your OB-GYN has flagged.
1-on-1 Pregnancy Training Sessions at Home
Prefer to train at home? Our pregnancy personal trainers in Singapore bring everything needed directly to your home. Sessions are fully tailored to your space, your pregnancy stage, and your goals – whether that is maintaining strength, managing weight, reducing back pain, or preparing your body for labour. Private, focused, and completely safe. Not sure if you have enough space at home? Many of our clients ask this. One arm distance should be more than enough!
WHAT OUR PREGNANCY PERSONAL TRAINING IN SINGAPORE WILL DO FOR YOU
Pregnancy is a magical experience for several women. However, it can also bring significant physical changes that can cause discomfort, fatigue, and reduced confidence in movement. Our pre natal fitness training singapore programmes are designed to work with those changes – keeping you strong, comfortable, and prepared throughout all three trimesters.
Tailored Prenatal Exercise Plans
Every fitness and nutrition programme is built specifically around your pregnancy stage, fitness background, and goals. Not a generic pregnancy workout – a plan designed for your body, your trimester, and what your OB-GYN has approved. Your Athleaders trainer adjusts the programme regularly as your pregnancy progresses and your body’s capabilities change.
Pelvic Floor Strengthening
Pelvic floor strength is one of the most important and most overlooked aspects of prenatal fitness. A strong pelvic floor supports the uterus, bladder, and bowel as your baby grows, helps prevent incontinence, reduces pelvic pain, supports your back, and directly contributes to a more comfortable delivery and faster postnatal recovery. Your pregnancy personal trainer incorporates targeted pelvic floor work throughout your programme.
Back Pain and Postural Support
Back pain is one of the most common complaints during pregnancy, driven by postural changes as your centre of gravity shifts. Our prenatal personal trainers in Singapore address this directly – building the core and postural strength that takes pressure off your spine and keeps you comfortable through the second and third trimesters.
Stress Reduction and Breathing
Regular exercise during pregnancy has a well-documented positive impact on stress, mood, and energy. Simply maintaining a consistent training routine is one of the most effective things you can do for your mental wellbeing throughout pregnancy. Your trainer and accountability coach incorporates breathing cues as part of correct exercise technique – and the breath control you develop through structured training has benefits that extend well beyond your sessions.
Flexibility, Mobility, and Labour Preparation
Your programme includes exercises that maintain and improve mobility as your body changes – easing the stiffness and aches that often build through the second and third trimesters. As you approach your due date, sessions shift towards labour preparation positions, hip mobility, and breathing patterns that help your body work with labour rather than against it.

EXCELLENT Based on 242 reviews Posted on Prakash HetamsariaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Athleaders stands out for its personalised and holistic approach to fitness, combining one-on-one training with tailored nutrition and recovery plans. From the start, everything was customised to my goals, lifestyle, and abilities, making the program both effective and sustainable. Training with Sebastian has significantly improved my strength and endurance, with clear progress in areas like wall sits and core stability. His sessions are structured, progressive, and focused on proper form. On the nutrition side, Sreeparna’s practical guidance—especially around portion control, vegetarian protein options while allowing flexibility in my diet. Overall, Athleaders is ideal for a balanced, realistic path to long-term fitness.Posted on Bingzhen ChuaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After 2 kids, I decided to make a change in my lifestyle last year. I went for a combination of activities such as treatments (to target postpartum areas) as well as PT. I started my PT journey with Athleaders as I like the concept of convenience and efficiency in my use of time. Furthermore, they also include a clinical nutritionist to guide me on my meals. Both my trainer Balan and nutritionist Fariha have contributed to my 9kg weight loss (7% body fat) and a 44-point reduction in total cholesterol and 45-point reduction in LDL cholesterol. Balan does the PT sessions with me at my condo’s gym. He works with a systematic routine of warm-ups, strength workout and finishers, and is always closely engaged with the exercises I do to make sure my posture is correct. He will always ask me how is the intensity (out of 10) after every exercise so he can gauge my level of strength and energy. He pushes me to maximise my efforts on the exercises which has helped me progressed from 4 kg to 6 kg weights, increased my wall sit to 1:09 mins, and my elbow plank to 1:28 mins. It is a pity that my gym was not equipped with weights during my training days so I would need to purchase my own and carry them to the gym at every session. The nutrition guidance from my health coach Fariha was very practical and sustainable. Fariha helped me plan my meals realistically, manage food during festivals and family dining. She has also given advises on what supplements and teas I can take to complement my daily food intake. For example, taking apply cider vinegar and husk fibre daily have improved my health greatly. She is always understanding and encouraging in the check-in calls we have, which make me feel motivated to be mindful and do my best in my daily food intake. I send many photos of my meals to Fariha and she will put in the effort to provide praises and encouraging feedbacks for all of them. I have learnt a lot of life-changing things from both Balan and Fariha and I am glad that I chose Athleaders to kickstart my next milestone.Posted on Nicola “Nic” GerberTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been training with Coach Evelyn for around 3 years, and learnt the importance of consistency, variation of weights and Sprints/HIIT in order to achieve results. Evelyn has always emphasized proper form and core control, which helped me train safely and improve steadily. She is attentive, patient, and knows exactly when to challenge me a little more. We've built a lot of trust over time. PT has become an essential part of my daily life and I genuinely enjoy the added push and energy she brings to my sessions.Posted on Ayesha SiddiquaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined Athleaders with a clear goal in mind—to lose around 20 kgs, build a strong and fit body, and address the aches and pains that had started to affect my daily life. Improving my lung capacity and overall energy levels was also an important focus for me. So far, the progress has been incredibly encouraging. I’ve already lost 12 kgs and reduced my body fat by 7%, which has been a huge milestone. Beyond the numbers, I feel a noticeable difference in my day-to-day life—less lower back and knee pain, better energy levels, and a much more active lifestyle overall. Nur, my personal trainer, has been amazing in helping me build strength safely while addressing my pain points. His sessions are well-structured, supportive, and progressive, which has helped me stay motivated and confident throughout. Fariha, my nutritionist, has played a huge role in my journey. She takes a very practical and flexible approach—there are no fad diets or forced supplements, just sustainable guidance using natural foods. Her frequent check-ins, ability to break plateaus with simple adjustments, and constant encouragement have made a big difference. She also adapts the plan seamlessly around travel, festivals, and busy schedules, which made it easy to stay on track. I would highly recommend Athleaders to anyone looking for long-term, sustainable results. The team genuinely supports you at every step and helps you build a lifestyle lasts.Posted on Cherie Kai Xin WongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined Athleaders at the start of this year with the goal of rebuilding my strength and feeling fit again. The past year, I hadn’t been eating well or exercising consistently, and I could feel the strain on my joints. Deciding to start personal training was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself this year. In just two months, I’ve already seen great progress — I’ve lost 4.5 kg and reduced my body fat by 2.2%. More importantly, my strength and endurance have improved significantly. From increasing my knee push-ups to holding planks for over 6 minutes and doubling my wall sit time, I feel stronger and more capable with each session. What really stands out about Athleaders is their personalised and holistic approach. The programme is tailored to my needs and lifestyle, making it easier to stay consistent while seeing real, sustainable results. Ronald, my personal trainer, has been fantastic throughout this journey. He’s helped me build strength and confidence progressively, always ensuring proper form while encouraging me to push further. His sessions strike the right balance between challenging and motivating. Sreeparna, my nutritionist, made the nutrition aspect simple and sustainable. The meal plans were flexible and easy to follow, with clear portion guidance. Her detailed meal reviews, practical tips, and consistent check-ins helped me stay on track, and her approach of simplifying everything into grams made daily planning effortless. I highly recommend Athleaders to anyone looking for a structured, supportive, and personalised fitness journey. The team truly understands your goals and helps you achieve them in a sustainable way.Posted on Vishakha SharmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined Athleaders with the goal of building overall muscle strength and improving my fitness in a sustainable way. Over time, I’ve seen consistent progress—my upper and lower body strength have both improved, my overall conditioning has gotten much better, I feel stronger, more stable, and more confident in my day-to-day movements. Nur, my personal trainer, has been extremely supportive and motivating throughout. His sessions are well-structured and focused on gradual progress, which has helped me build strength safely and effectively. Fariha, my nutritionist, has guided me in making better food choices without overcomplicating things. She focused on ensuring I was eating adequately to support my training, without pushing unnecessary supplements. Her regular check-ins, especially around holidays, and her simple tips made it easier to stay on track. I would highly recommend Athleaders to anyone looking for a balanced, supportive, and results-driven fitness journey.Posted on Brad MillerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined for the initial 11 session package and athleaders started asking me to renew after about six sessions. They asked me multiple times per week to hurry up and renew because they were raising prices. When my last session was complete and I tried to renew the train only package, I found it was $140/session. The trainer I had was great but the constant chasing me for money and the price increase before my first renewal didn’t feel right. I think there are better value options available in Singapore.Posted on Rishu RajTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. With Athleaders, the focus on personalisation and sustainability made it much easier for us to stay on track and enjoy the process as a team. For me, this approach has also led to a loss of 10.4 kg and a reduction of 2.8% body fat, making the journey both effective and sustainable. Training with our coach Leroy has led to clear and measurable progress for both of us. I progressed from bench pressing 10 kg dumbbells to 18 kg, and improved my squats from 6 kg to 20 kg, along with noticeable improvements in posture with less hunching. Crystal’s (my partner) progress has also been impressive—she increased her bench press from 2 kg to 5 kg and her squats from 4 kg to 12 kg. Additionally, her pull strength has significantly improved, which has positively impacted her Reformer Pilates sessions. Leroy’s structured programming, attention to form, and ability to push us at the right pace have been key to these results. On the nutrition side, working with Sreeparna has been both effective and sustainable for us. The flexible meal plans with clear portion guidance made it easy to follow, with detailed meal evaluations, daily feedback, and weekly reviews ensuring we stayed on track. Practical tips, gram-based portion guidance, and quick responses to our queries made the process seamless. For me, adjustments like revised plans for faster progress, including carb control and managing calorie-dense meals, were particularly helpful. For Crystal, the focus on building sustainable habits—like incorporating balanced meals and gradually reducing added sugar—made a noticeable difference in consistency and overall progress. Overall, Athleaders has been a great fit for us, offering a balanced and sustainable approach that supports both individual progress and long-term health.Posted on Xianhui NgTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Athleaders has provided a personalised and results-driven approach that fit seamlessly into my routine, especially while working towards losing post-pregnancy weight as a result I have lost 5 kg weight and 1.3% body fat in 1 month. With Lifern’s guidance, my strength and endurance have improved noticeably, and Fariha’s consistent support with practical meal suggestions and regular check-ins has made the entire journey smooth and sustainable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for effective and structured support to achieve real results.Posted on Elizabeth MakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thanks to Athleaders, I'm stronger now than I've ever been in the last 10 years! I started with them about a year ago, and their onboarding process was really easy. Since then, I've been working with my trainer Evelyn, who is really great. I had a lot of pains and issues when I first started, and my low blood pressure meant strength training could lead to bouts of dizziness. Evelyn was amazing at adjusting to my needs, even while pushing me to improve and holding me accountable. I'm really pleased to say that most of my pain has gone away, and my quality of life has really improved with the consistent training. I even plan vacations around my sessions now, because it's become such a necessary part of my life! If you're looking for a way to be a fitter, stronger version of yourself, I 100% would recommend Athleaders.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. The plan is updated as your pregnancy progresses.
ACCOUNTABILITY COACH
Staying consistent with exercise during pregnancy is harder than it sounds. Energy drops, priorities shift, and motivation fluctuates - especially in the first and third trimesters. Your accountability coach syncs weekly with your trainer and dietitian, tracks your progress against measurable milestones, and has Google Meet calls regularly to keep you on track. They are solely responsibe for achieving your goals.

What Your Prenatal Training Looks Like At Every Stage of Your Pregnancy
Every trimester brings different challenges, different energy levels, and different things your body needs. Your pregnancy personal trainer in Singapore adjusts your programme continuously as you progress — so what you are doing in week 8 looks very different from week 32.
Building Your Foundation
The first trimester is the time to build the physical foundation that will carry you through the rest of your pregnancy. Your bump is not yet limiting movement, so this is the window to establish core strength, pelvic floor control, and the habits that make training sustainable across all three trimesters. Structured exercise during this phase also helps many clients reduce morning sickness and maintain energy during what is often an exhausting first stage.
- Foundational core and pelvic floor strengthening
- Strength training with appropriate load
- Breathing techniques for energy and nausea relief
- Posture awareness for shifting centre of gravity
The Training Sweet Spot
Energy typically returns in the second trimester, and most clients feel their best during this period. This is where the most productive prenatal workouts happen — your body is cooperating, your bump is growing but not yet limiting, and the foundation from trimester one is paying off. Your trainer introduces postural corrections and modifications as your body changes week by week.
- Postural correction as your bump grows
- Moderate intensity strength training with modifications
- Gestational diabetes prevention through exercise
- Adapted core work to protect the linea alba
- Avoiding supine exercises after weeks 16–20
Preparing for Birth
Comfort and safety become the priority in the third trimester. Intensity reduces and sessions shift increasingly towards preparing your body for labour — building the strength, endurance, and body awareness that make a meaningful difference when the time comes.
- Advanced relaxation and breathing techniques
- Labour preparation positions and exercises
- Modified strength training and reduced-impact work
- Hip mobility and pelvic floor maintenance
- Upper body strength for holding and feeding your baby

Inspiring Stories. Real Women. Real Results.
The routine with Coach Anoosha focused a lot on my core, back and pelvic floor and evolved over time. She also addressed my pain with targeted stretches during and after our sessions, and the stretches worked wonders! Her guidance was key in helping me stay fit throughout my pregnancy.
Nutrition Coach Riya answered all my doubts about managing gestational diabetes. She provided recipe suggestions and several comprehensive lists (eg low GI fruits and vegetables). She also shared practical home remedies for pregnancy problems like GERD that you wouldn't find easily online.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Athleaders team for prenatal fitness. They truly understand the unique needs of women during this crucial phase and provide exceptional support to ensure a healthy pregnancy. The individualized advice from Anoosha to address my pregnancy related aches and from Riya to address my questions on GDM were much appreciated. This is not a generic service but one where clients' specific needs are sought for and met. I found it great value for money for such a service. Both were also quick to respond and so was Athleaders who even offered a make up coach for the short time that Anoosha was away on vacation.
My nutritionist, Fariha, provided a customized pregnancy plan and practical advice tailored to my cravings and energy fluctuations, helping me maintain a balanced diet and manage IBS comfortably. The level of personalized care and dedication at Athleaders has been invaluable during such a special time. I'm truly grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to achieve their health goals!
Fariha has been equally amazing, transitioning my plan from a body recomposition diet to a pregnancy-focused guide. She constantly tweaks my nutrition plan to suit my needs and provides practical advice for staying on track while traveling. Her focus on natural, nourishing foods has made a huge difference in how I feel every day, and she has offered valuable advice on portions and food swaps.
PRENATAL PERSONAL TRAINING SINGAPORE - FAQs
The choice is entirely yours. At Athleaders, we have both male and female prenatal personal trainers in Singapore, all experienced in pregnancy fitness. Many clients ask for a female trainer for comfort and ease of communication – particularly when discussing pregnancy-specific concerns – and we are happy to arrange that. However, there are several male trainers who have trained dozens of pregnant women and are often even more knowledgable and experienced in this area than females. Our priority is to ensure you get the right trainer for your objectives, comfort and results.
For most healthy pregnancies, moderate exercise is not only safe but actively recommended by doctors and OB-GYNs. Regular Pregnancy personal training has been shown to reduce the risk of gestational diabetes, help manage pregnancy weight gain, improve mood, reduce back pain, and prepare the body for labour. That said, every pregnancy is different. Before starting any prenatal or pregnancy personal training programme, we require a medical clearance from your OB-GYN. If there are any restrictions or complications, your trainer designs your programme entirely within those guidelines.
Yes – modified strength training remains appropriate and beneficial in the third trimester for most women. The key word is modified. What you were doing in trimester one will look different in trimester three: loads reduce, movements are adapted, and exercises that put pressure on the abdomen or require lying flat on your back are replaced with safe alternatives. Your prenatal personal trainer adjusts the programme continuously to match your changing body, so you are never doing something that is not appropriate for your current stage. We always work within your OB-GYN’s guidance.
Yes. Your trainer arrives at every session with all the equipment needed – resistance bands, suspension trainers, glute bands etc. If you’d like to incorporate weights we can do this too – we can arrange dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells etc. You do not need to own or buy any equipment. If you have your own equipment or train in a condo gym, your trainer will incorporate whatever is available.
We follow your OB-GYN’s guidelines without exception. Before we begin any Pregnancy personal training programme, we review your medical clearance and any restrictions in detail. If your doctor restricts certain movements, positions, or intensity levels, your programme is designed within those boundaries. We never override medical advice. If your restrictions change during your pregnancy – which is common – we adjust your programme immediately.
For most clients, two to three sessions per week with your prenatal personal trainer strikes the right balance – enough to build meaningful fitness and see results, without overtaxing a body that is already working hard to support a growing baby. That said, the right frequency depends on your current fitness level, your trimester, how you are feeling, and your OB-GYN’s guidance. Your accountability coach works with your trainer to find the frequency that keeps you consistent without pushing beyond what is appropriate. Frequency commonly reduces slightly in the third trimester as your body needs more rest.
Evidence from published research – including a study published on PubMed – suggests that structured exercise during pregnancy can be effective in helping manage blood sugar levels and reducing the risk of gestational diabetes. At Athleaders, our approach combines your pregnancy personal trainer’s exercise programme with your dietitian’s nutrition plan, which includes guided carbohydrate management and balanced macronutrients to support stable blood sugar. If you have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, we recommend discussing our programme with your OB-GYN before starting.
Your first session is an assessment + workout. Your prenatal trainer discuss your pregnancy stage, current fitness level, goals, and any discomfort or complications you have experienced. They will assess your movement quality, posture, and any existing issues like back pain or pelvic discomfort. From that assessment, your trimester-specific programme is built.
Moderate, appropriately modified prenatal exercise does not negatively affect foetal growth. Research consistently shows that staying active during pregnancy is associated with healthy birth weight and improved developmental outcomes. Your prenatal personal trainer designs your programme to avoid anything that increases intra-abdominal pressure excessively or restricts blood flow. Every exercise choice is made with both your health and your baby’s wellbeing in mind. If at any point you experience unusual symptoms – dizziness, pain, shortness of breath, or reduced foetal movement – please inform your trainer immediately. Your trainer will stop the session and we will direct you to seek medical advice immediately.
